The best-known kind of container is the freight container. Bloedorn Container offers both new and used shipping containers. The difference between the two is that “New” containers, also known as “one-way” containers, are produced in China and put at the disposal of a shipping company for one transport of goods by ship. After this one sea transport, the container arrives at a North Sea port and is submitted to a strict quality control before we take it on. Traces of usage can’t be avoided on this single maiden voyage. Used containers on the other hand have been used to transport goods for several years, before they are released to us. Therefore, used containers can show dents, paint damage or repair signs.
